Jeffrey speaks with Brian Sear author of Compete And Empower. In his book, Brianshares what it will take to get America back on the road to wealth and prosperity. Brian is involved in early stage new ventures, growth companies in emerging markets and real estate opportunities. He is a member of the Sierra Angels and is President of VenRaD LLC, a venture research and development consultancy. Before starting VenRaD LLC in 1985 Sear had a successful career in high technology. He was recruited in London, England to join the Univac research team working on their first semiconductor computer. This began a productive period developing and patenting new technology and publishing the results. During the 60′s and 70′s Sear published many articles in prestigious journals and went on speaking tours to promote novel ideas about computers and instrumentation.
